The OverseerI woke up the next morning with my Mistress nowhere to be found. The smell of breakfast wafts from the downstairs kitchen as I look around for her. Maybe she's cooking breakfast for me. I think to myself as I slowly get up and wander to the kitchen. There were other slaves there, eating their breakfast as I searched. Three males casually eating and smiling at each other, talking about the "new guy," which I assumed to be myself. There was a woman at the stove cooking my breakfast, at least, I thought she was until "she" turned around. Then I realized that I was looking at the overseer. I yelped and made a dash for the exit until the burliest one held me back by the shoulders and laughed. "Whoa whoa whoa! Slow down there, little fella! No need to panic!" The overseer finished cooking my breakfast and plated it up. "Awww... poor thing, he's scared half to death..." He giggled. "Where's my Mistress?" I gulped nervously. Chapter 6: Feuer Frei!
When I awoke the next morning, Kris growled at me and threw me a wet sponge. "Get your ass up, punk! Clean yourself up!" I looked at him in absolute confusion as he slammed a bucket of soap-water on the floor, clearly having no idea what was going on, or how my lower half was soaked with blood. "And if you could be so kind as to clean Ellen up as well." Why would I need to clean her up? The last thing I remember was the virus tearing up my lungs and heart. "Are you deaf or just fucking stupid?! Clean yourselves up!!!" I raised my hands up in self defense. "Fine! Fine! I'm not going to argue with you, Kris!" Kristopf gr

Chapter 4: Infiziert
I woke up just before sunrise so I could wake Richard up. He groaned sleepily at first, wondering why I woke him so early. "Kris wants me to prep you to be infected with the Vampro virus." He rubbed his eyes sleepily and yawned. "I want you to be able to see your last sunrise before you get infected." Richard then went wide-eyed. "M-m-my last sunrise ?" He stammered. "Ja I'm not sure of whether you're aware of this, but us Vampros are more sensitive to sunlight than humans, even more so if we have royal blood." Richard mouthed an "Oh " and sighed sadly. I then helped him up and put on his ba

an endless, comfortless silence,
which is worse than death,
because you remain conscious
of how utterly alone you are.
All dreams are nightmares
that come without sleep
when you never know if you
Time is without meaning,
and you begin to wonder
if you still have any existence,
even madness dare not tread here,
but instead something worse,
and yet unnamable, unknowable,
the utter loss of self.
Denied even the mercy
of waiting upon death,
when you cannot even be certain
of what life is any longer.
How easily the mind turns against you,
begins to consume itself,
and you can no longer trust your own thoughts,
